About The Fairytale Company
2015
At the end of 2014 it was decided that the Nordic business would be expanded to an European one. 2015 became the year where The Fairytale Company was launched in Germany and at the same time our international online shop was launched.
2013
In 2013 we celebrated our two year anniversary. When you're two years old, you can walk and run and when you're a little rascal you think it is funny to run fast and test the speed limits regularly. That means getting some bruises once in a while, but it quickly gets to be fun again. In 2013 things really sped up. Web-shops were launched in Sweden and Norway and at the same time The Fairytale Company acquired the business Hiphiphurra with web-shops in Denmark and Sweden. With one stroke the assortment came to include birthday supplies.
2012
After a few busy months in Roadrunner speed space got too cramped and The Fairytale Company moved to new and bigger rooms in Helsinge, 45 kilometers north of Copenhagen. Here our stock and customer service are gathered under one roof and we still reside here. 2012 was also the year were we got the courage for more and started preparations for a launch in the Swedish and Norwegian markets.
2011
There was a time, long, long ago - all the way back in the year of our lord 2011. At that time it was almost impossible getting products with all the known characters from movies and TV that the kids love. Necessity, as we know is the mother of invention - in others word something had to be done. The Fairytale Company was launched in 2011with the purpose of creating an online Mecca of products with all the well known characters. The starting point was all the classic Disney characters, but it wasn't long until it was obvious that characters related to TV series and games were popular.
